Yes, for miles, miles and miles there were endless plains of sand. Few palm trees lurked on this dangerous terrain for exhausted travellers to curl up under. But sure enough, sat under one was a dark blue figure, fluffy feathered wings furled behind the female frame. Her features were masked by flowing locks of paler hair, which matched ribbons that were wrapped around her arms. Around her legs, blood stained chains. The same blood that stained her dress.
The blood didn't bother this bat, as she seemed really rather content in her slumber.

A dark-blue hedgehog stood atop a rock, looking ahead at the sand. All he saw was sand, and a few palm trees. You may be wondering what he was doing here? Well, all will show in good time. Beyone his serious espression was panic, and anger. Also, the heat was getting to him. He didn;t let this show though. His bottom quill was slightly longer than the rest, and it curled in towards his chest. Lightning bolt markings ran down each quill, and his shoes were half grey and half green.
His tail was echidnan, giving it that slightly longer and pointy look. His optics were deep purple, and he had a loop ear-ring in his right ear.

Not to far away from the other two of the, a red fox was lying down on the sand with closed eyes. He had red fur, and short blonde hair. He was wearing a black muscle shirt and gray jeans. He tail was sticking out slightly from underneath him and it was dipped black.

Deep brown eyes fluttered open, the bat leaping to her feet. With a swift twitch of her ears, she was able to locate someone near by. She didn't treat this as a threat, just waited for one of the two lurking males to come into her view as she stood in the shadow's shade. One foot casually stepped out from under the tree after a while, an uncomfortable switch of cool to boiling causing her to wince, her feathered wings streaching out as she opted to fly. That way, she wouldn't get so hot, and her bare feet would be allowed to avoid the sand.

He looked up to the sun, not directly of course. He flinched, and wiped his for-head. "You've really done it this time, Mystic." He said to himself. "I'm not sure i'm gonna be able to help you.." He shook his head, and took off, running over the sand causing it to spray up violently.

The red fox stood up and stretched. "Well....its nearly the hottest time if day....in the hottest place on earth...." He began to throw black fireballs into the air and they exploded like fireworks.

Her wings beating through the humid air, the bat's eyes widened as a fireball exploded a few feet ahead of her. Yelping, she turned and fluttered in another direction, but was too slow. Another of the fireballs caught her sharply at the tip of her left wing and with a scream she was set off balance, hurtling into the sand, in the path of the running hedgehog.
Weakly, she pushed herself up, a twinkle of gold light over her head. This soon formed a halo. This angel was not too pleased. She automatically assumed a demon had thrown that fireball, but chances were she was just in the wrong place, wrong time. Shaking, her arms straightened, as she pushed herself up onto her knees. From here, she nursed her burnt wing, sighing.

"Woah!" The hedgehog cried, trying to stop running. He attempted to stop, but it was to late. He kept on going and bashed into the angel, and fell face first into the ground. He lifted his head, and shook it to get the sand off. He didn't look at the Angel, he never really payed attention to anyone.

The red fox saw he hit someone and he turned into a black fireball and appeared beside the two other people. "Uh ya sorry bout that...."

Yelping, the angel was knocked down again, her wings spread behind her, so she thankfully caused not damage to them. Wincing, she pushed herself up, narrowing her eyes, brushing sand from her slender frame, watching the hedgehog, sighing away her frustration. "Are you alright?" she frowned, walking across the burning sand and kneeling beside he hedgehog.
She then spotted the fox. So it was him that threw that fireball. "You should check the sky before you throw up fireballs like that you know?" she cooed, her tone mature as she gave a motherly warning.

"I;m ok. Why does it concern you?" He asked, standing up. He didn't seem in the best of moods. He sounded serious, but also quite sad. "Listen, thanks for your help. But I really have to get going. As for you." He turned to the fox. "Be careful where you're throwing fireballs!" He snapped.

The Angel narrowed her eyes at the fox's words. It didn't seem like rocket science to her. Beating her wings, sand steadily showered from between her feathers. She then looked at the hedgehog. He was certainly in a rush. But he looked so concerned. Perhaps it wasn't her place, but she felt somewhat guilty for making him trip. It wasn't his fault he was going too fast for his own good she supposed. Neither was it that fox's fault that her wing was damaged to a certain extent. "That guy had a point." she frowned, fluttering into the air above the hedgehog. "It's not wise for mortals to keep moving at this hour." she insturcted, her tone almost sour on the tone mortal. The fact she wasn't one anymore, was a bitter concept.
